Pierre Huyghe’s film Camata (2024) unfolds in the museum’s Rotunda as a meditation in which life and death, reality and fiction, the human and the non-human are replayed to question humanity’s place within a universe shaped by technology.
In the display cases of the Passage and in the Machine Room, Laura Lamiel’s installations transform light and color into a sensitive material. Between shadow and radiance, she composes a poetic landscape of objects and forms that invite viewers to perceive the infinitesimal and to touch, with their gaze, what usually remains invisible.
Accompanied by a museum guide, the tour offers children and adults the opportunity to explore the museum together.
In resonance with the works of James Lee Byars presented in Gallery 2 as part of the “Clair-obscur” exhibition, the Bourse de Commerce presents, for the first time in Europe, the performance The Mile-Long Paper Walk (1965) in the museum’s Rotunda.
The family workshop invites children and adults to experiment with artistic practices, to discover techniques and creative gestures to be freely reinterpreted.
From June 4, the Rotunda is taken over by Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya with one of her "Fog Sculptures", titled "Cloud #07156".
The Pinault Collection brings together some 10,000 works of art. This ensemble is presented through exhibitions in the Pinault Collection's museums and beyond.
