Article 6: PURCHASE PROCEDURE

The Purchaser places an order for one or more Tickets or Membership cards on sale on the Site(s).

The online purchase procedure includes the following steps:

  • The Purchaser chooses the Service they wish to buy, the number of tickets desired per Price according to available places in real time,
  • The Purchaser chooses, if applicable, the day and time of the Service in the calendar made available to them,
  • The Purchaser then has two options:
  • to create a Customer Account by first entering their email address and a password and then by entering mandatory personal data such as title, surname, first name and postcode which will enable them to access their order history, past or future Tickets or Membership Cards, to print them, to access their personal offers, to modify their contact details or to subscribe to newsletters. The creation of an account is mandatory for memberships;
  • not to create a Customer Account and choose the guest mode. They are then invited to enter only their email address to receive their Tickets or any other information related to their purchase (change of programme, delay, cancellation, etc.).
  • A summary of the entire order is displayed. The Purchaser then checks their order and confirms that they have read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

At the time of checking the order and after accepting the General Terms and Conditions of Sale under the conditions referred to above, the Purchaser is redirected to a secure payment server.

In the event of refusal by the payment centre concerned, the order is automatically cancelled. Any payment of the order by the Purchaser constitutes irrevocable acceptance of the order which cannot be challenged.

As soon as their purchase has been validated, the Purchaser will be able to print the Tickets they have received in pdf format in a dedicated email to the email address indicated, or they can print the Ticket(s) at a later date by logging into their Account. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure that the contact details and information provided at the time of booking are correct.

Each Ticket entitles the holder to one admission for one person.

10.1 Use of a valid Ticket

All Tickets are systematically checked at the entrance to the Bourse de Commerce, activities or programming and scanned. The Purchaser must therefore go to access control with a Ticket printed in advance or downloaded to a smartphone. Visitors should carry their Tickets with them during the visit.

To be valid, the Ticket:

  • must be printed in one copy on white A4 paper, blank front and back. The Purchaser must print as many Tickets as there are people.
  • The Company accepts the printing of two separate Tickets on the same sheet of paper (front and back) if visitors remain together throughout their visit.

or

Each Ticket has a unique QRCode.

For Tickets printed on paper, a good print quality is required, so that the information on the Ticket and the QRCode are clearly legible.

No device allows the Purchaser to print a Ticket on site on the day of the visit.

Partially printed, soiled, damaged or illegible Tickets will not be accepted and will be considered invalid.

The Company reserves the right to refuse access to its areas (museums, workshops, auditorium) to any holder of a Ticket that is counterfeit, invalid, or which has not been issued by the Company or which has not been acquired via sales methods authorised by the Company.

10.2 - Compliance with the Visiting Rules

Purchasers are advised that the Tickets authorise access to the exhibitions or Services at the Bourse de Commerce during the opening hours indicated on the Tickets and/or indicated on the Site(s) and that any visit is subject to compliance with the Visiting Rules.

10.3 Use of Tickets individually and for non-commercial purposes

Tickets are issued in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale for individual use.

Any holder of a Ticket of the Company is prohibited, under penalty of possible legal proceedings, from using it for promotional or commercial purposes without the prior written agreement of the Company.

Any sale or exchange of Membership Cards with third parties is strictly forbidden, subject to the penalties provided for in the Penal Code (Article 226-4-1 of the Penal Code).

10.4 Duplicate in case of loss or theft of the Ticket

In the event of loss or theft of a Ticket or a duplication of a Ticket, only the first person presenting the Ticket is considered to be the rightful holder of the Ticket and can access the Service sold by the Company.

The Company cannot be held liable for the loss or theft of the Ticket under any circumstances. However, a duplicate may be issued in the Information-Tickets area on presentation of supporting documents and an identity document, provided that the Ticket has not been used.

Article 11: TICKET REFUND AND EXCHANGE CONDITIONS

Pursuant to Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the Purchaser does not benefit from the withdrawal period for the purchase of Tickets.

Tickets purchased online are not refundable, returnable or exchangeable, even in the event of loss or theft. Their resale is strictly prohibited.

No refund will be granted following booking errors made by the Purchaser on the Company's Site (date, price, service errors).

No refund will be granted to Purchasers benefiting from a reduction and having paid the full price following the non-submission of proof.

11.2 In the event of Force Majeure or for reasons attributable to the Company

In the event of Force Majeure, the Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking. The Company cannot be held liable for any non-performance due to Force Majeure. In this case, Purchasers who have booked and paid for their reservation will be notified by telephone and/or by email. One (or more) proposed date(s) will be offered by the Company. If this date is not convenient for the Purchaser or if no date is possible, the Company will refund the Buyer.

The Company reserves the right to modify the programme of visits, workshops, activities and cultural programming and to replace them with another event of the same nature if the conditions are not met to enable the visit or Service to be presented as planned. If this alternative does not suit the Purchaser, they will be refunded by the Company.

In order to make the refund, the Company may ask the Purchaser to provide it with any information that it may lack in order to do so, and in particular:

  • sending the original and complete ticket(s),
  • bank details (original bank statement),
  • copy of a valid identity document.

Any refund will be made as soon as possible, and at the earliest within 30 (thirty) days of completion of the associated file, to the exclusion of any other compensation or indemnity.
