Follow our guides!
Enjoy a guided visit with a specialized tour guide at the Bourse de Commerce. The tour content is adapted to suit the group, the age of the participants and their educational needs. On offer: a range of three themed tours.
Seen from the outside, the Bourse de Commerce forms a perfect circle. This unique design is a rarity in the Parisian urban landscape. Immediate departure: this architectural tour takes visitors on a remarkable voyage through the five centuries of the building’s history. Discover the “queen’s palace”, the “municipal pantry”, the “world store”, and the “contemporary art museum”, and admire the different architectural elements that make up the Bourse de Commerce.
The Exhibition Tour
Paintings, sculptures, videos, photographs, sound works, installations: all artistic disciplines are explored at the Bourse de Commerce — Pinault Collection. From works that have already made the history of contemporary art to the most emerging artists, the collection offers a perspective on the art of our time. This guided visit invites you to take a tour of the current exhibitions and, through active observation, to share your experiences with the works.
Where are we?
Where do artworks come from? Who chooses to exhibit them? How do you arrange them in space? Are the artists present on-site? What is a museum label? Who are the professionals that allow exhibitions to see the light of day? On this tour, find the answers to all these questions and get a glimpse into the workings of a contemporary art museum.

Imagined alongside the exhibitions and the programmes of the Bourse de Commerce and led by mediator-guides or by guest artists, these workshops invite young visitors to train their eye and sharpen their sensibility for contemporary creativity.
Activities are conducted in French. If you wish to organize a visit-workshop in another language, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Workshops last 1.5 hours and are intended for groups of 5- to 12-year-olds.
La visite-atelier décalée (The offbeat visit-workshop), for 5- to 7-year-olds.
This offbeat tour-workshop takes a look at artists who reuse everday objects in their work, including recyclable materials and waste items salvaged from the street. Upcycled and put to use in something other than their original function, these materials question the symbolic charge that they contain, as well as history, politics and the ecological issues of our time. Accompanied by a guide, children are invited to let their imagination run wild by working with salvaged materials, assembling them together and giving them a second lease of life.
La visite-atelier Les mille et un visages de la Bourse de Commerce (The many faces of the Bourse de Commerce visit-workshop), for 8- to 12-year-olds.
Long closed off and hidden from public view, the remarkable and unique architecture of the Bourse de Commerce can now be rediscovered. Accompanied by a mediator, children are invited to study the architecture of the museum, with all its curves and its forms, and to learn how to understand space through observation and through emotion. Using the architectural elements discussed during their visit, each child can imagine a collage that gives form to the face of the Bourse de Commerce.
