Do you enjoy reading? We invite you to join the “Morning Reading Sessions” organized by the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection, a special moment dedicated to the pleasure of reading.
As part of the exhibition “Minimal”, the museum’s Rotunda is home to the works of Meg Webster. The American artist presents five sculptures—two earthen mounds in yellow and ochre tones, a cone of salt, a wall of beeswax, and a vegetal installation—all of which respond to their environment. Shaped by variations in light, air, and temperature, these living forms engage in a continuous dialogue with the visitor’s body and senses.
This sensitive, sensory work—conceived as an inner landscape at the heart of the museum—will become your reading environment for the duration of a shared morning.
Before the museum opens, in the gentle calm of the early hours, take advantage of this suspended moment—an hour and a half of serenity to experience the joy of reading in an exceptional setting.
Alone or accompanied, bring along your favorite book, a text you’d like to discover, or simply let yourself be surprised, inspired, and moved by the readings proposed by our mediators. They will share a selection of text excerpts chosen in close collaboration with the artist especially for the occasion, in resonance with the works on display.
For the comfort of visitors and due to the conditions of the visit, the presence of very young children is not recommended.
