8:15 pm – Elias Rønnenfelt & Joanne Robertson (Rotunda)
9:15 pm – ML Buch (Auditorium)
ML Buch is a Copenhagen-based composer, guitarist and singer whose music is built from delicate textures, where precision of tone and melody shapes singular soundscapes blending electric guitars, synthetic instruments and electronic experimentation. Born from an intuitive process of experimenting and piecing things together, her work oscillates between the familiar and the strange, allowing room for the unexpected to emerge.
Elias Rønnenfelt is a Danish musician and poet. Joanne Robertson is a London-based musician and painter. For this evening, they perform their own compositions as well as pieces born of their collaboration. As singer and lyricist of the post-punk band Iceage, Elias Rønnenfelt has built a solo body of work that moves between indie rock, folk and experimentation. Written and recorded at home between tours, his latest album, Speak Daggers (2025), features collaborations with The Congos, Erika de Casier and Fine, among others. With her latest album, Blurrr (2025), Joanne Robertson unfolds a free-flowing, sensitive style of songwriting. Composed between painting sessions and the early years of her child's life, the album lets a voice and guitar of great delicacy come quietly to the surface. Her previous album, Blue Car, gathered recordings made over nearly a decade, like fragments of a personal diary.
Adam "CCsquele" Nielsen and Dan Kjær Nielsen, who also drums for Iceage, make up the duo Thicket. Together, they've developed an improvisational practice built around a shared drum setup, where two drum kits converse, intersect and answer one another.
