Amaru’s Tongue: Daughter

On the occasion of The Planet as Festival, the Bourse de Commerce presents Amaru's Tongue: Daughter, a film made in 2021 by Chuquimamani-Condori and her brother Joshua Chuquimia Crampton. Together they pursue the anti-colonial and anti-ecclesiastical work of the Aymara people, from whom their family originated, and draw a multifaceted work, combining indigenous Aymara culture, queer thought and abolitionist struggle.

The presentation of Amaru's Tongue: Daughter is accompanied by a musical performance by Joshua Chuquimia Crampton, composer and performer of the film's original score.
