On 28 and 29 November 2025, Pinault Collection invites its members to an exclusive immersion into the London art scene, in partnership with Christie’s Education.
This exceptional trip will offer the opportunity to discover, with privileged access, behind the scenes of the world’s most famous auction house, as well as the key cultural events that make London one of the world’s art capitals.
Friday, 28 November: Behind the scenes at Christie’s
The first day will begin with a welcome to Christie’s by Guillaume Cerutti, President of Pinault Collection and Chairman of Christie's, and Ted Sandling, Global Director of Christie's Education, followed by a private tour of the Classic Week exhibitions, led by a Christie's specialist. Members will then have the privilege of entering Christie's warehouse, where works are assessed, valued, and prepared for sale.
A convivial buffet lunch will be shared in Christie’s boardroom, alongside the Global Director of Education and Aliki Braine, art historian and artist, who will guide the group throughout the trip.
The afternoon will continue with a visit to the Kerry James Marshall: The Histories exhibition at the Royal Academy. Kerry James Marshall was featured at the Bourse de Commerce during the Ouverture and Corps et âmes exhibitions.
Next, head to Gagosian for monographs dedicated to Ed Ruscha and Christopher Wool.
Saturday, 29 November: The modern and contemporary London scene
The following day will focus on modern and contemporary creation. Members will discover the prestigious Courtauld Collection and its exhibition dedicated to Wayne Thiebaud, American Still Life.
Lunch is not included in the package.
In the afternoon, follow the guide through the capital's most dynamic contemporary galleries: Annely Juda Fine Art and its exhibition devoted to David Hockney's most recent works, and the Serpentine Gallery, which is presenting an exhibition devoted to Peter Doig, an artist featured in Ouverture, Le monde comme il va and Corps et âmes at the Bourse de Commerce.
The journey will end around 5pm.
