Grand Tour with Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi

On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November, Punta della Dogana presents the second edition of Grand Tour, dedicated to the sharing of knowledge, experiences, ideas and objectives between Italian and international museums and institutions. This year, Palazzo Strozzi's Department of Education has organised two days of educational activities conceived for various kinds of public.

19 November
Dissident voices:
This workshop focused on the theme of freedom of speech becomes an excuse to reflect upon the use of the Internet as a free communication tool and the risk of uniformity that it represents. For real social media addicts!

Language through the art: An activity dedicated to foreign students that use art to learn Italian, immersed in an experience that establishes a direct confrontation with the works on display. In collaboration with Istituto Venezia.

Geometry, my love: The last workshop for children dedicated to discovering the exhibition Accrochage: circles, triangles, trapezes and parallelepipeds are the fundamental ingredients to invent a world full of little corners. Not for messy children!

Palazzo Strozzi's philosophy: Palazzo Strozzi experiments with new ways of experiencing art through conversations taking place in the exhibition rooms, workshops and accessibility projects, to live engaging and stimulating experiences. The Educational Department of the Florentine museum tells us all about itself during a round table dedicated to professionals working in the fields of Education in museums and to those who love this job!

20 November
Different voices: Different voices is a dialogic tour of the exhibition: the participants are actively engaged in the observation of the works and are invited to understand the world by using imagination and not memory, by being inventive rather than by using logical and cognitive skills. In collaboration with IRE Venezia.

Let's talk about...: Sharing a space for dialogue and thinking, observing a work of art and exchanging points of view: Let's talk about... is a conversation taking place in the exhibition rooms that stimulates our critical and analytical skills. Activity dedicated to art lovers, whether experts or amateurs!
