Friday 24 October - in the heart of the Rive Droite - Bourse de Commerce and Jardin des Tuileries
In the morning, before we begin our guided tour of the exhibition Minimal at the Bourse de Commerce, we will enjoy a “petit déjeuner” at the Bras restaurant, located on the top floor of the building, overlooking the Halles. We will be welcomed by the curatorial team of the Pinault Collection, for a convivial moment that will immerse us in the heart of the Pinault Collection. Bringing together an exceptional selection of works from the Pinault Collection, in dialogue with those from prestigious collections, the exhibition Minimal traces the diversity of the Minimalist movement since the 1960s, when a whole generation of artists initiated a radical approach to art. Duration of the visit : 1h30
Break for lunch
In the afternoon, moving towards the Jardin des Tuileries, we will discover the “Hors les murs” exhibition of the Art Basel Paris fair, organised in collaboration with the Musée du Louvre. We will discover some 20 international artists in an open-air exhibition. At the end of the visit, our guide will introduce us to the visit of the Art Basel fair, which we will do freely on Saturday afternoon. Duration of the visit: 1h30
To make sure we don't miss anything, following the visit we will discover the fair Offscreen, dedicated to photography.
Saturday 25 October - one day al Grand Palais
In the morning, we will visit the exhibition Niki de Saint Phalle, Jean Tinguely, Pontus Hulten at the Grand Palais. The exhibition, co-produced by the Centre Pompidou, retraces the journey of the copycat Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely, united not only in their private lives but also by their common vision of creation as an act of rebellion against the established norms of art, through the figure of Pontus Hulten, who shared their artistic vision. Pontus Hulten, the first Director of the Centre Pompidou, was also the Director of Palazzo Grassi in 1984, and, throughout his career, he provided unconditional support to Saint Phalle and Tinguely with the purchase of works, dedicated retrospectives, cartes blanches and supported several projects such as La Fontaine Stravinsky (1983), in the forecourt of the building.
Break for lunch
On the ground floor of the Grand Palais, we freely visit the emblematic art fair of the Parisian cultural scene.
