Towards a Transversal Pedagogy: The Silent University

The Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi hosts the event organised by The Silent University, an autonomous, solidarity and exchange-based educational platform led by lecturers, consultants and research fellows who are refugees, asylum-seekers and migrants themselves. The talk presents the current works, experiences and history of this project born in 2012 with the participation of Ahmet Öğüt, founder of The Silent University, Suha Nabhan, member of the organisation and co-founder of Migration Jam, and Yelta Köm, who introduces the platform’s new branch in Turkey, The Silent University Orientation Programme.

The event is part of the initiatives that Palazzo Grassi – Punta della Dogana dedicates to social inclusion and migrations.
