The new creative workshop held in the rooms of the exhibition ‘Thomas Schütte. Genealogies’ at Punta della Dogana is curated by Sou Padova, a school of architecture for children whose mission is to promote respect and appreciation for public spaces, stimulating children to reflect on and learn the values of hospitality and sharing.
Children and adults are invited to participate in this Superlab, inspired by the interior spaces of Punta della Dogana in dialogue with the city of Venice.
The contamination of cultures from all over the Mediterranean passing through the ancient Dogana da Mar, the true “gateway to Venice”, is addressed through the city's multiple architectural styles, from the historic facades on the Grand Canal to contemporary interventions, such as that of Tadao Ando for Punta della Dogana.
