Moda ScoModa: laboriously elegant dresses
With the help of photographs of the exhibition "CHRONORAMA. Photographic Treasures of the 20th Century" at Palazzo Grassi, Marina Petruzio leads a workshop that oscillates between costume, art and illustration. The activity is a journey through time to discover the most uncomfortable and difficult clothes to wear along the centuries: participants will then be invited to imagine and create an impossible, annoying and totally non-functional dress.
Marina Petruzio
After thirty years of career within the fashion system, Marina Petruzio is now a scholar of children’s literature. A debt of gratitude ties her to Astrid Lindgren and, from a fragment of her speech, she begins a very personal research that goes to investigate the narration for children through the dress, between illustration, visual arts and design. Thus were born her website and the Instagram page @e_vestiti_carini that this research collect visual notes and much more.
