SOL LEWITT - INEVITABLE MUSIC

Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #343 is one of the most emblematic artworks of the exhibition Accrochage on view at Punta della Dogana. Inspired by the unique work of the American artist, French composer Sébastien Roux, a 2015 - 2016 artist in residence at Villa Medici - French Academy in Rome, composed many electronic and acoustic translations of LeWitt's wall drawings under the title Inevitable Music.
October 13th: Talk by Sol LeWitt scholar and curator Béatrice Gross and listening session in the foyer with pieces from Inevitable Music composed by Sébastien Roux.
October 14th: pieces from Sébastien Roux's Inevitable Music is performed by Ensemble Dedalus in the exhibition rooms, in front of Sol LeWitt's monumental Wall Drawing.
