Paolo Giulierini: art and archeology

Talk with Paolo Giulierini, Marco De Michelis and Martin Bethenod

Paolo Giulierini, Director of Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli, meets Martin Bethenod, Director of Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana, and Marco De Michelis, professor of History of Architecture, for a talk dedicated to the relationship between archeology and contemporary art, starting from the themes of the Damien Hirst exhibition Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable.
The talk focus on the convergences between archeology and contemporary art, from museographic and exhibition projects to the inspiration that many contemporary artists find in archeology for their own artistic projects.
