Palazzo Grassi e la storia delle sue mostre #2

Palazzo Grassi and the history of its exhibitions #2 - An eccentric line of Italian art

The conference Palazzo Grassi and the history of its exhibitions, curated by Stefano Collicelli Cagol, is the second appointment dedicated to the long history of exhibitions at Palazzo Grassi. The second edition, involving experts of fashion and contemporary art, aims to bring to the public’s attention the key role played by the International Center of Arts and Costume from 1967 to 1976.

The study day will focus on some of the major figures of those years including Enrico Baj, Emilio Scanavino, Rodolfo Aricò, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Vincenzo Agnetti and Filippo De Pisis. Preceded by an evening dedicated to the world of fashion in those years, this conference marks the second chapter of the research begun last year, on the eccentric role played by Palazzo Grassi in tracing a new way of reading contemporary culture in Italy.
