Meetings with the artists

Palazzo Grassi promotes a calendar of monthly appointments, in which special meetings open to the public are held with artists whose works are presented in the exhibitions "In Praise of Doubt" in Punta della Dogana and "Voice of images" in Palazzo Grassi.

• 21 january: Silvia Burini, professor in History of Art in Eastern Europe at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, meets Boris Mikhailov.

• 23 may: Daniela Lancioni, art critic and curator of the Spazio per l’Arte Contemporanea in Tor Bella Monaca and at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, talks with Giuseppe Penone, protagonist of the international art scene and leading member of the Arte Povera movement in the 1960s.

• 4 october: Christine Macel, chief curator at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, meets Anri Sala, one of the protagonists of the exhibition “Voice of Images”.

• 26 november: Andrea Lissoni, curator at Hangar Bicocca in Milan, and Caroline Bourgeois, curator at Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana, meets Hassan Khan, one of the protagonists of the exhibition “Voice of Images” at Palazzo Grassi.

• 27 november: Hassan Khan performs in a special concert realized in collaboration with Palazzo Grassi and the Teatro Fondamenta Nuove in Venice.
