Observing, narrating, drawing, moving: through short play-based activities and interpretative exercises, children explore the exhibitions and the artists, starting with the activities from the complimentary activity guide.
A different workshop takes place every Saturday at 3:30 pm—a special time for the youngest visitors to enjoy a creative experience together in the exhibition spaces of Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana.
Workshops are open to families with children ages 5 to 11.

Characters in search of an author...
What happens when a character steps out of their own story and ends up in another? A wealthy property owner, a president, two quarreling friends, and more... a treasure, a mysterious potion and plenty of magic!
Have fun mixing and matching the characters from the stories Amar Kanwar tells at Palazzo Grassi and invent a new one all of your own.
By changing the order of the addends, the result certainly changes!
Singing Pages!
Contemporary art reaches for us through many different languages and does not merely speak to our eyes.
Discover the exhibition Lorna Simpson. Third Person with your loved ones; listen carefully together and focus on its many sounds.
Punta della Dogana welcomes you with a one-of-a-kind experience that will allow you to create a tactile booklet inspired by Lorna Simpson’s works.
