Migrating with forms

6 pm

Free admission until capacity is reached.

The doors of the Teatrino open 20 minutes before the start of the event, with priority access for Pinault Collection Members 30 minutes before it begins.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection presents the conference "Migrating with forms" on the evolution of North American art in a global context, exploring the transatlantic dialogues that have shaped its creation, circulation, and reception.

The event is part of the initiative promoted by the Lunder Institute, which has invited prominent international institutions such as The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Yale Center for British Art, Tate Britain, and Royal Academy of Arts to critically examine the history, future, and ongoing evolution of American art.

Naomi Beckwith, American art historian, Deputy Director and Jennifer and David Stockman Chief Curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation and Artistic Director of documenta 16, participates in a conversation to interpret part of Peggy Guggenheim’s legacy, offering innovative perspectives, challenging established narratives, and giving voice to historically marginalized or overlooked stories and viewpoints.
