Masterset Stories. Racconti in tre righe

Palazzo Grassi – Punta della Dogana presents Masterset Stories. Racconti in tre righe a new digital project between art and literature conceived in collaboration with Marsilio Editori, Venezia and dedicated to the catalogue, co-edited by Marsilio Editore, Palazzo Grassi – Punta della Dogana and Bibliothèque nationale de France, of the exhibition Henri Cartier-Bresson. Le Grand Jeu. The project accompanies the digital public while waiting for the opening of the exhibition on February 11, when it will be possible to visit Palazzo Grassi on Thursdays and Fridays until February 26 2021, for free.

6 authors for 6 short stories: Annalisa De SimoneGaja CenciarelliElisa FuksasGinevra LambertiFederica Sgaggio and Chiara Valerio are invited to imagine short novels in three lines, inspired by the photos of the Master Collection by Henri Cartier-Bresson, presented in the exhibition at Palazzo Grassi and in the exhibition catalogue. The project lives as an ideal literary continuation of the Grand Jeu of the five curators of the show, Annie Leibovitz, Wim Wenders, François Pinault, Sylvie Aubenas and Javier Cercas, invited by Matthieu Humery to choose among their favourite shots of the Master Collection.

The catalogue of the exhibition Henri Cartier-Bresson. Le Grand Jeu is published in a trilingual edition (italian, english and french), graphic design by Studio Sonnoli (Leonardo Sonnoli and Irene Bacchi). The volume include texts by the five curators, by the general curator Matthieu Humery and by François Hébel, Agnès Sire and Aude Raimbault.
