Long Playing - Valentina Magaletti

6.30 pm

Free admission until capacity is reached.

Doors open 20 minutes before the beginning of the event. Pinault Collection Members can access the Teatrino 30 minutes before the start of the event.

The second event in the listening session series welcomes Valentina Magaletti, drummer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who, with her music, breaks down the boundaries between noise, ritual, and music, transforming ceramics, objets trouvés, and percussive surface textures into instruments of resistance and tools for building a queer world.

Date created with the support of A R S, part of 100_ve expanded festival 2026.

The Long Playing music series , curated by Nicola Di Croce and Francesco Bergamo (SSH! Sound Studies Hub, Iuav University of Venice), is dedicated to the listening of musical editions in the auditorium space, accompanied by the authors through a lecture performance. Its title is inspired by the vinyl record (LP), a format that, since the post-war period, has shaped how music albums are experiences and listened to.
