To mark the beginning of the autumn Masterclass, this year dedicated to sound practices, the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi presents the screening of the film and audio-fiction Life Chronicles of Dorothea Ïesj S.P.U., directed by ALMARE, a non-profit organisation whose research is dedicated to languages that use sound as a means of expression.

This work of sound science fiction lays the methodological, formal and conceptual foundations from which to tackle the Masterclass seminars taking place on 18-19 October and 7-8 November.

The project becomes a starting point for a broader investigation into the narrative forms of sound-based practices and the research strategies that make it possible to acknowledge and amplify their qualities.
