Long Playing - Francesca Marongiu

6.30 pm

Free admission until capacity is reached.

Doors open 20 minutes before the beginning of the event. Pinault Collection Members can access the Teatrino 30 minutes before the start of the event.

The third appointment of the Long Playing cycle is with electronic music composer and sound designer Francesca Marongiu. Her works moves between sound, memory and place, with a personal approach that blends acoustic sensitivity and electronic processes.

The Long Playing music series, curated by Nicola Di Croce e Francesco Bergamo (SSH! Sound Studies Hub, Iuav University of Venice), is dedicated to listening to musical editions in the auditorium, accompanied by the authors through a lecture performance. Its title comes from the vinyl record (LP), a format that, since the post-war period, has shaped how music albums are experienced and listened to.
