On the occasion of the 2025 Venice Glass Week, Laguna~B presents at the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi a short documentary by Raffaele Morandi dedicated to Autonoma, Laguna~B’s annual program bringing together international students from communities affected by systemic inequalities, with the goal to cultivate talent and foster enduring connections within the global community of emerging glassmakers. Autonoma’s fifth iteration was developed in collaboration with Foci MCGA – Minnesota’s only non-profit public access glass studio and education center – in partnership with Project for Pride in Living, as part of their program LEAP, offering education, support and tutoring to young glass makers.

The documentary follows the four participants of the 2025 edition during their stay in Venice. It documents the development of a collective glass project as an opportunity for the students to deepen their knowledge on glassmaking and nurture the exchange of ideas and creativity.
