10 Years of Grand Tour
A tour of the world's museums without leaving Venice

The tenth edition of Grand Tour marks a milestone in promoting critical debate and exchange within the museum and cultural sector.

Since its inception in 2015, Grand Tour has been dedicated to engaging museums and cultural institutions engaged in practices with the aim of creating a platform for discussion and exchange of practices on crucial issues related to education and mediation within cultural institutions. Each year, Grand Tour offers a unique opportunity to experience innovative proposals from museums around the world. This year, for its tenth edition, it draws on the heritage of previous editions, with a special emphasis on participant involvement.

This year's Grand Tour is structured as a two-day talk dedicated to museum professionals and a workshop reserved for the general public.

Friday 14 November

  • from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: talk open to museum education professionals at the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi

Saturday, 15 November

  • from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: closing session of the talk for professionals at the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi. The results of the round table discussions will be shared and presented through illustrations by Roberta Ragona (Tostoini)
  • from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Palazzo Grassi HACK. Workshops conducted by guest museums and open to visitors to the exhibition at Palazzo Grassi.

A special edition of Grand Tour

To mark its tenth edition, Grand Tour invites museums and institutions that have participated in previous editions to offer the Venetian public workshops inspired by their own methods of interpreting the works of Tatiana Trouvé on display at Palazzo Grassi.

Friday 14 November will be structured around five thematic tables, each led by two moderators who have led previous editions of Grand Tour and bring a wealth of experience gained in various institutions.
